Having been bombarded with Footjoy hyperflex on Twitter this afternoon I noticed the side on view of the shoe and how tall it looks, like its on a platform and I wondered if they made you taller than other shoes. I have a selection of shoes from spiked to spikeless and clearly the spiked ones make you feel a little taller when you have them on, as by design they are supposed to sink in to the turf a little when worn ... so onto the conundrum!
When getting custom fit for clubs will the shoe choice on that day determine a different set of parameters for your new clubs? I could easily see the new hyperflex adding a bit to your club length etc when testing on a hard indoor range mat, at least compared to me wearing my adicross spikeless!
