That's everyone in now, our (Coventry GC) Tim Barmby finishes a strong 5th in the gross & 9th in the nett, well done Rick, Nick & Dave, the scores across the field speak volumes, tough gig by the looks of it.

All our GM runners & riders finished in the top 1/3rd :thup:

Going to be having myself some of this next year and dump the normal matchplay comps home & away, they take up too much time and arranging fixtures is a pain.

Bitterly disappointed not to win, but I'll take the 0.4 cut.

I'll second that, I didn't have enough holiday for the practice round but even so, £55 for two rounds at Sherwood Forest was excellent value.
I'd also add that the event was very well run, many thanks to England Golf and SFGC for a great two days.

Top shooting Rick. Regardless of some Keyboard Warriors concerns playing Championship golf on a top course is no easy task. Hope you don't try to out last 2Blue in the bar :cheers:

Cheers guys. Great catching up with Nick and Dave today.
One of those rounds where I could easily have been 3 or 4 better but I'll take being only 2 shots of the leading gross score. Not bothered about the nett.
Going along steady front 9 in 2 over gross with bogies at both par 5's which were downsind, so criminal really.
Back 9 and the rain and wind came leading to my only double of the day, then a horrendous kick on the last which took my ball from the middle of the fairway to a crap lie in the rough resulted in a bogie which was disappointing.
But I'll take a 0.4 cut from today and give it my best shot tomorrow.
I'm desperate to win this thing!!
If the score wasn't good enough for some forummers I can only apologise ( and wonder if they'd be disappointed with a round that resulted in a cut!!??)
