Shaping shots with a hybrid

Why do I find it so much easier to shape shots with my 3 hybrid than with any other club?

It’s pretty much the only club I have that I can trust to hit a high fade, and its fabulous for hitting low hooky runners out of the trees. I’ve discovered that I can do more with this club than any other in the bag. I’ll take on shots with it that I wouldn’t dream of with any other club.

Is this a “feature” of hybrids?

My 3 hybrid (Callaway XR-16) is my most used club, it is my fairway club of choice but is great in just about any type of lie. I also carry a 3 wood but that is almost exclusively only used off the tee when a driver isn't appropriate.
