As a horrible sufferer for the past 3 years, it has now been weeks since I hit my last one after a eureka moment.
I was never afraid of the word shank, it was more not being able to stop the inevitable once you didnt feel comfortable over the ball at address.
I have had some of my biggest cuts while going through them too, putting stats were better too strangely.
LOL Every six weeks or so we here about your new eureka moment then 5 weeks later you are back in the pits of despair  Any half wedge shots
As someone who rarely suffers them all I can so is :ears:
Just you concentrate on heading back to double figures![]()
Easy done, doesn't really take much concetrationOnly one more bad round required
Anyway it would only be a temporary blip your shanks are always going to rear their ugly head with alarming regularity.![]()

I have hit one shank in months, the one I did hit was from a hanging off camber lie but still counts
I think I hit a few decent pitches at Shandon a few weeks ago that Steve can attest to, I actually enjoy it now though expecting to hit a decent shot as opposed to backside like a rabbits nose like it always was after short term fixes.
What a bunch of shankers.![]()
 indeed but didnt detract from the progress made away from the poor putting show. Cant wait til Monday now too. Need to do the 2nd and 3rd holes more justice this time.Still wasnt good enough to stop me taking the cash though
I understand the reference ' don't say the word' which is why in my opening post I said ' I'm not afraid to use it'.
Sorry, but shanking is quite funny
