seniors

Is it wrong for them to take early retirement if they have worked for it ?
We all have worked for it ... But we won't all get it will we? So why give anyone any strokes, why do you want a level field here and not there? Bit of a contradiction really ...

The question though was at what age do 'I'class someone to be a senior..... and nobody over 52 had ever beaten me, nor ever will
Please tell me you are kidding! I won't mind taking you up on a bet with some of our seniors lol. And ours are 55 plus, that's the same as England golf amatuer events.

And a lady boy!
That chap is referred to as pancaking. But I feel obliged to go back to asking which tee you would play off. At the moment we can only play from the yellow, blue and red due to the time of year. However I did note that some of he yellows were less than 5yards from the whites ... The blues and reds are in excess of 20 yards and up to 50.

I enjoy playing with old people. I have never played with any that are exceptionally good. ive only played with ones who enjoy they day out, have good banter and don't take it too seriously. the best thing is they don't knock the ball onto other fairways, they don't spend all day looking for their pro v 1s and genuinely praise each other with such phrases like " nice 6 there".

some of them still have nice short games and can run a ball in better than me!

its refreshing and I look forward to being one!

people in there 50s are not seniors. im talking at least 65+.

Please PM me if you would like to come down to Worcestershire and open a tin of whoopass with a 65 year old!

The Pro Senior Tours start at age 50, but these are are unhandicapped! Most clubs in our area have senior sections for players 55 and over, but at some it's 60 minimum. My previous club only had a vets section for players 65 and over.

Reality is brutal .... They want to play for money and hide behind a handicap, so be it, but they won't get a game with me. Everyone is welcome to play off scratch, just try it in matchplay you will see how tight it gets.

I think even I might even play matchplay if it was scratch. I'd love the opportunity to play better players than me off of scratch. Unfortunately, there are very few opportunities to do so.
