Played wednesday, then was so busy with work and today ive just done a 350 mile round trip (Amersham-Lincoln-Birmingham_Amersham ) to repatriate my Uni girls so havnt had time to report
Briefly
Was very happy with my approach shots, had several pitch marks to repair around the flags which is an improvement on recent form.
Also hit some very nice hybrid shots.
Going to be a period of adjustment
using a borrowed 14 degree driver so higher ball flight than usual and its costing me about 20yards plus, but most drives were good and straight, The conditions werent great, windy with rain in the air, but mild, but very heavy underfoot, so it was tiring wading through the mud.
Playing again tomorrow so will have another go
But very happy with 80% of my shots
Its the other 20% that screw me up
