Search doesnt work

Hi Gang

Tried to use the search facility for the first time ever and it doesnt work

I search for "Ping" within the last month, headers and content

Nuffink, a blank reply

Is there a simple setting i have missed am I stupid? or is it an "Issue"

Did you put a timeframe on it? If you put a month in the top box then one day in the bottom one it brings up over 200 "hits".

Well its default setting is "newer than 1 month"

So I thought that if i left the "older Than" bit blank it would just search for stuff newer than 1 month.

WRONG

Ok I need to put in the proper dates, I Know Now.
