With no wind this course is far too easy for the pros. Having said that I fully expect Rory to mess up this afternoon and just scrape into the weekend

It certainly doesn't look easy. Some challenging tee shots and the greens are not flat.

Latest info I have (from someone who knows a member) is about £100k to join and £4 - 5k per year.
Said the last time he played the place was dead.

At that price I'm not surprised!!
I suspect that is how they like it. The last thing they will want is people up the back of your 4 ball or hanging around on a tee waiting when you pay fees like that. They want it quiet and exclusive. It's a different world.

I was there yesterday and it did not look easy. I think it's just extermely good players benefitting from benign weather conditions. A different story over the weekend probably.

The idea that the top pros can't reduce virtually every members course to near pitch and putt is fantasy no matter what the fees.
Pretty much Scottish weather today, lovely and sunny with showers in-between and changeable wind direction
