Scottish Fitba'

Ended up watching all of the Rangers game as it turned into a crazy old match.

I don't think I've ever seen such a poor Rangers side, they dominated even before the red but have almost no technical quality and nothing remotely decent up front. It seems every attack is to create a slight overload so someone can whip in a cross. In end to end games like last week they look better but against anyone that parks the bus they look so bad.

Even so I can't believe they didn't win that one. Very dubious decision from VAR at the end where it looked like they bottled it completely.
If you are talking about the penalty claim, it was clearly outside the box. Even Kris Boyd admitted it wasn’t a penalty.

It should have been a free kick, the ref got it wrong, not sure VAR can award free kicks?

I said at the time nothing would be given as it was too much of a big call.

It looked like contact was very close to the box but I didn't watch the reviews after the game, so could be wrong. Seems mad VAR could've got involved if it was a penalty but not a free kick and red? Another reason why the whole thing needs to get in the bin.

The poor team has been good enough to see off Celtic recently.
Hearts champs, Rangers 2nd is my prediction.

The only difference is Rohl has come in and done a very good job. That side is still lacking quality all over the park. Still very much in the title though, the pressure on Hearts will ramp up massively towards the end of the season.

They could have given a red card if it was justified, but there were covering defenders. The ref should have given a free kick and maybe a yellow. VAR is blameless in this instance.

The old ā€œKris Boyd saidā€ deflection. Chris Sutton was quite convinced it was a penalty describing it as ā€œa shockerā€ decision.

Hard to tell where the contact happened, the replays that were shown were pretty poor and vague.
It was pretty clear on the replays they showed after the game and the entire panel agreed it wasn’t a penalty.

Never heard what Sutton had to say as I was too busy watching Celtic throwing the league away.
