Scottish Fitba'

Brilliant game, well played both teams Scottish fitba at it's best

This time last year Hearts were near the bottom of the league and looking seriously on relegation.
What a transformation, still capable of winning the League. (y)

BTW
Asking for a friend.... does Fernandez get a credit for Bragga's goal ;)

Not denying Ibrox is very good atmosphere wise for big fixtures but doesn’t even get close to a lot in Europe. I wouldn’t even say top 10.
Celtic parks the same.

I have not been to a game in Europe but at Ibrox it can be incredible.
When we beat Steau Bucharest in the 80s the atmosphere was unforgettable, here I am reminiscing about 40 years later.
That and the game where we beat Celtic 5-1.

Not my list but someone has compiled a list, plenty of possibilities to choose from here.

Ibrox is at no.42.

That article is based on a few factors, atmosphere being one of them. Celtic park is definitely up there especially on a big European night but what's going on on the park has a huge bearing on the noise from the stands.

Not in the Top 10? Name eleven better please....

Okay, off top of my head
Eintracht Frankfurt, Dortmund, Bayern, PAOK, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos, Red star and Partizan Belgrade, Legia Warsaw, Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, Salvia Prague, Austria and Rapid Wien, Zenit St Petersburg, Spartak Moscow, Ferencvaros, CSKA and Levski Sofia, Feynoord, Ajax, FC Basel, Young boys, PSG, St Etienne, Marseille, AC, Inter, Rome, Lazio, Napoli, Juve

All better atmospheres than both Parkhead and Ibrox, and to be honest I could probably argue the case for another dozen euro grounds. Celtic and Rangers are good don’t get me wrong, they have bigger numbers than most in Europe and when they’re in full flow they are rocking but it’s so dependent on what’s happening on the pitch. Granted it’s a totally different mentality at a lot of euro clubs but the atmosphere and support both vocally and visually is constant and blows Glasgow out the water.
I’ve been to every big game at Celtic park for 30 year, and bar the last handful of years every derby at Ibrox, YNWA, the huddle, billy boys, derrys walls, the bouncy to name a few are amazing to see and hear, better than everywhere in europe when they’re in full flow but for the most part, the full ground, bar a couple sections are sitting on their hands.
Celtic park in particular has been a myth for a long time, some special special atmospheres especially during Oneills first reign in the early 2000’s but it has carried a bit of a reputation for this unbelievable atmosphere when the truth is it’s not really. Not in comparison as I say to a lot in Europe.

Just to note I’ve experienced most of these Euro grounds first hand and it is just my own opinion ofcourse, but easy to have the blue or green tinted specs on when talking about atmosphere, when a lot of europe are at a different level

I find it just great that Hearts now go to the two big Glasgow clubs and play an attacking game.
For the record, so far this year Hearts have won five out of six league games against the gruesome twosome.

Looking at the league run in, there are two Glasgow derbies still to play.
