Both our centre backs are hopeless, honestly just terrible, rubbish, crap, did I say hopeless they're not very good.
I haven't watched the recent games but the reviews have described Scotland as awful each time, backed up by posts on here. Is the team poor or is Clark turgid with his tactics? (He doesn't come across as the most inspiring)
They’ve been starting games terribly and then seem to play well once they need to chase the game.
But Tuesday is a massive game and this team won’t have a better opportunity than this to qualify out right.
I’ve watched them. To be fair, they’re not bad going forward, especially as the service the forwards get isn’t brilliant. Defensively I’ve seen better pub teams - slight exaggeration.
They battle well but usually the better teams pass the ball around and through them. They’re probably 3 players away from being very decent. 2 centre backs and a defensive midfielder in front of them.
