I think that is probably true, as it stands he won't stay longer than his current deal. The problem is the board, they do somethings very well but preparing the squad at the start of a season isn't one of them. This is especially noticeable when we have to negotiate qualifiers.

Well deserved point for Motherwell.
Not convinced by the possession based football from Rangers.
Far too much time keeping the ball and not trying to score - came back to haunt us today.

Watched the second half which was Scottish Fitba at it's best, fast, exciting and full of mistakes coupled with some good stuff.
Motherwell looked very impressive.
Rangers ball retention is desperate, they spent most of the half trying to recover from their mistakes.

1st time I've listened to Russel Martin being interviewed.... Was a refreshingly honest post match interview... You get the feeling if you don't do what he wants on the pitch you won't be playing... Fair play to him..

Watched it, good game. Shame about the disallowed goal but a player involved in the move was quite clearly offside.

I think it was the second player that the decision was against.
First player was offside but not interfering with play,
That is why it took the Refs ages to make a ruling.

Perfect start to the season for the Perth Saints on Saturday. Putting 5 past one of the big rivals for promotion and losing just 1. The team’s engine was purring beautifully - hopefully Simo has sorted the composition and mentality of the squad and it was a sign of things to come. Plus an attendance touching on 5,000 - even if Thistle brought about maybe 1,000 that means a home support of 4,000. - now that’s pretty darned good.
