Scotties!!!

There are a number of grips available on Cameron putters with varying feel so golfers can choose a softer grip if they want. Not that I think the standard grip is very different from the traditional Ping grip.
I found it a bit too sticky , soft and small for me - the shape was a bit weird but just replaced it with a SS

The ones on all the ones we tried at Silvermere had a solid pistol type grip (simliar to the Anser Cadence blue grip). To be honest even in places like Silvermere that carry a decent stock I've not seen different grips available

Some of the newest style come with a matador grip. Which is a lovely feeling grip.

Agree with you on the standard scotty pistol grip homer its horrible never liked them

Much to agree with here.

I don't like the standard ping-like grip.

I assume mine has the matador grip? It's a bit larger than normal, like a midsize, and feels superb.

Until it gets wet, when the black bits (mostly writing) goes slimy, and you cannot dry it no matter how much you try! Ugh!

Assume you mean the top one in this picture? Have the same and its pretty decent.

Link doesn't work for me, wants me to register, but I have the non R version of the one in your sig so assume it's the same grip.

Seriously try to keep it dry as long as you can. I can't dry it even when the rain has stopped and it's horrible when wet. Just the black bits, the red is fine.

On the plus side I've never putted so well :)

Also not a fan of the Scotty grips, they are way too thin. Pistol mid-size is my preferred grip. When the Winn turned out to be a bad buy (too slimy when wet) I did a lot of hunting round for something more suitable that would perform better. Eventually went with a leather Gripmaster grip, really is the best grip I've ever used. Nice when dry and goes super tacky when wet. Had it on for most of this season, and been more than happy with it, no signs of wear other than a change of colour in the leather. They are a tad expensive in comparison to most rubber grips, but they should last as long as the putter.
