Scotland. Recommend a day out.

Distillery sounds good to me, but one of our group has not had a drink for 25 years, due to liking the scotch too much, so don't think we should be tempting him ! Will add to the consideration list though.

At the end of the tour you go into a room and there's loads of shot glasses put out with a single malt in, if there are any people not taking their designated shot, I was in their like a rat up a drain pipe.

How about a days fishing on Loch Earn, followed by something to eat at the Dells Cauldron in Comrie , great venison, lovely scenery. If the fishing seams a bit boring, you could always tramp up Ben Vorlich, great views.

That sounds good. The driver is a really keen fisherman. How far would that be from St Andrews ?

Do you want me to get you a real Harris tweed flat cap, to replace your Matalan one ?

Ouch!!:o. My wife bought me that hat!! it's very stylish.
Have fun what ever you do. Don't forget your m&s thermals, it can get chilly up north this time of year. A chill can be serious at your age
:D

Thermals washed and ironed after last trip two years ago. Haven't needed them down South.

Do you want to remain on the waiting listing to join us when Geoff gets too old ?:D

Nae bother, I think Perthshire in the autumn is a wonderful place.
The view from Edradour distillery over the town to the hills is superb.
There is also a [whisper it] golf course there as well.

PS The sound effects for the Enchanted Forrest are pretty good as well.

Would ditch Perth its only 20 miles from me but there's nowt there, Pitlochry is a fantastic place to visit. Or Oban and Fort William on the other side.
