I've just been looking in the For Sale section and noticed that Jammydodger has now sold his last bit of golf equipment and thought - what a real shame.

I met him once or twice and spoke briefly to him at the last Blackmoor meet and thought what a thoroughly nice guy.

I always enjoyed reading his posts and especially his support for higher handicappers, being a single figure golfer himself.

If you're reading this Jammy, best of luck to you and I hope you can find the time to pop in for a chat now and again. :cheers:

Very nice guy, and a great golfer. Slight problem with wind, but that's being picky.

Top bloke, can't believe he has walked away from golf.

I would love to be as good at golf as jammyd.

Exchanged a couple of PMs yesterday - he's just lost the buzz for the game.
And there's no point in playing if you can't enjoy it.
He says he'll pop in from time to time but not playing anymore means he doesn't get interested in following anything Golf at all so it makes it hard to chat about it..

Sad loss to the Forum and Golf.

Jammy - Youda Maaan!:thup::clap:

why he sold his clubs, fed up of the game?? or financal probs???

Its not unusual though. My old mate HTL lost interest and sold his Mizzy gear. Some cynics might have said it was partnering me that drove him to it. I should point out we did win a pairs honour board event!

What a shame to lose a good man to the game. Will always remember JD's picture he posted of all his trophies. Never seen so such silverware.

I hope he will return to the game, grouped with him and JustOne at Blackmoor was fun, I can remember laughing....a lot :thup:

OMG!!!! How did I miss this! Top, top man who I was really hoping to play again in 2012 :(Take care JD and I hope the back is behaving itself. All the best fella... I need a bawling like a baby 'smiley'

In the nicest possible way, I hope that within a few weeks you miss it desperately and buy back all the gear!

Don't be away too long

Chris
