Ryder Cup.........................

Yep, good stuff, Mickelson/Kim have won 3 on the bounce to go A/S. Casey just hit 3 wood in water, Sergio/Westwood 2 down, US on a roll.
In the words of Corporal Jones DON'T PANIC, DON'T PANIC!

Westwood/Garcia just got one back, could easily end up 2-2 but more likely 3-1 to US.
I think it will be better for the match if Europe go behind today so we have to work harder Sat/Sun, we've had it too easy for too long. Ryder Cup shouldn't be an easy thing to win!

Casey and Stenson need to sit out the afternoon, let McDowell and Jimenez in.

Unfortunately my first action of the day was Garcia dare I say bottling it again on a simple wedge shot that went in the drink. Worrying times for the europeans at the moment. Just seen an absolutely phenomenal chip shot by justin rose though- with his 3 wood, so hopefully things will start to fall in our favor.

What happened?
I had the radio on this aft and we were cruising in two games.
Get home and we've only managed 1/2 point

We carried on cruising and the Yanks put it up a gear. Really not looking good.

RIGHT!!! Change of game, a new start and all that psychology stuff and more importantly a change of booze, Jimenez is on with Garcia so I feel duty bound to have some rioja (actually goes quite well with BBQ pringles).

I've managed to stay with a simple bottle of Merlot...so far, fourballs going ok but not too confident yet.
Do you think Casey will get another go before the singles, looked well off form earlier?
Good to see local boy Perry drive it in the water on 18 to lose their lead, he was the only one who said US would win at Opening Ceremony.

I hate Perry's face and swing. I refer everyone back to Madandra's post a few weeks back.("Swings that make you go Aaaaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhh!" or something similar)
I'm sure that watching Furyk and Perry's swing is so offputing that Garcia and Westwood couldn't think straight.
If I was Azinger, they two would always be out together.

i sat down about 4.30 and didnt see us hit a green for 30 mins !!! Including fluffed wedges from the middle of he fairway (Garcia and Poulter). Missing a green with a wedge for these guys is like missing your mouth with a fork

missed the action since 6 surprised he sent kim back out straight away, I would of sent him to the range for the afternoon. Mickelson saved kims ass.

Unfortunately that's what Mickleson's supposed to do.

There's been some seriously good golf on show, from both sides. This must be the way golf is meant to be played or maybe watched!

Who would you put up against Leonard/Mahan - and who would have thought they would have played as they have?

I've been trying to work out who has actually been playing poorly. there has been a lot of great play - at the wrong time, how many times do you need to birdie just to make a half

Leonard ia now a mature player. He has a strong short game and with greens like those ones he is always going to make a few good putts. He's another like Mickelson who is there to provide maturity and a level head to team up with a newcomer.

He will be one of their top points scorers this time round!
