Ryder Cup Sunday - Whats your club doing?

Is your club trying to attract people down on Ryder Cup Sunday?

It's a great opportunity to bring some much needed revenue into all our clubs and shouldn't be missed.

A club close to me are running a USA v Europe, £5 members and £10 visitors with the entrants being picked out for either team and gaining points for their team, they are also having various singles prizes, closest to the pin, beat the pro etc. They are also running a drinks promotion with large screen.

Great idea and hopefully it is well supported

We've got a Wales v Rest of the World comp on followed by food and beer.

But, it'll only work if the club has Sky Sports. Most members will return to the comfort of their own living room to watch the live golf on tv. Not all have it nowadays 😠[SUP][/SUP]

I'm sure it will be on at the club, but what time is the scheduled finish? I'm sure it'll way after licensing hours and so with no beer to entice members to stay, they won't.

Not sure many clubs will want to open until ~2am to watch it till the bitter end?
