Ryder Cup on Sky Sports

I have moved from Sky and a bit gutted that I will not be able watch the Ryder Cup but all is not lost as I have noticed that through NOW TV you can get a 7 day Sky Sports Pass for £10.99 (special price until november) which I think is very resonable as a one of cost. Gives you access to all the sports channels for 7 days.
Could someone point me in the right direction to this deal, can't see it on the website.Thanks.

Hi buddies! I would really appreciate it if someone that has guaranteed access to the Sky Sports 2014 Ryder Cup coverage on his TV set could contact me privately. I am not from the UK and I want some info. Thanks a lot!

You mean you want someones sky user name and password so you can watch it on Skygo? Fair enough then, my user name is Born and password is Yesterday.

Rubbish. The quality and quantity of golf coverage has improved immeasurably with Sky. You should be criticising the BBC which lost interest in golf years ago. Their Open coverage used to be by far the best weeks golf in the year, but not any more.

Agreed! Sky coverage leaps and bounds in front of BBC!

One of the main reasons we stick with Sky is for the Ryder Cup. I agree it's coverage of sport is impressive and way better than BBC or ITV manage - although the touch screen analysis stuff gets on my nerves.

As for Sky+ - can't imagine life without it now! It spoils me though as the amount of times I get on the car, listen to the radio and think about rewinding to hear a track again!

I for one is really looking forward to this, booked the weekend off work and planning to come part of the furniture for 3 days!

I can't wait either, will be watching it all day Friday and then i'm fortunate enough to have tickets for the Saturday, Sunday! Can't wait to soak up the atmosphere and no doubt tape it on Sky to watch back Sunday/Monday when I'm recovering!

We pay for Sky sports all years for the one off events that we really want- neither of us care much about football.
This day pass is a good idea

Not sure if still the same, but they used to keep what they considered their big draws on SS1 and SS2. If they had the bright idea to do "minority pass" (other names are available) at a lower price (excluding SS1 & 2) then I could see the numbers of passes sold going up.

Say a bit of US PGA golf on an evening for a few hours - if just a few coins I might just pop it on. Buying 24 hours worth of 5 or 6 channels, not sure - time will tell.

Anyway, have bought the week pass mentioned in the OP for the RC.

I've got Sky Sports - subscribed for the golf and EPL. Former for me - latter mainly for my lad when he was at home and to watch on SkyGo when at Uni. But he's now left uni and moved to Sheffield - so home EPL watching not required for him - and doesn't watch it any more on SkyGo as he'll go to pub in Sheffield to watch it with his mates.

And so I think I'll cancel Sky Sports and sign up for the 7 days pass for the RC and for whenever I might want to watch something,

Do you men your son could watch skygo when he was at uni from your home sky subscription? If so could I also get skygo from my sons sky subscription ?

Yes you can if he gives you the log on

Hi, for those who were looking for a week pass for the Ryder Cup, I've just had an e-mail telling me that voucher cloud has a 10% off code. I know it's not a significant saving but why pay more

http://www.nowtv.com/promo/weekpass10?referrer=AFC94838&DCMP=afc-nowtv:nc_VoucherCloud/gen

As a caveat, I don't need to use it so haven't looked into details or tried it, but looks on brief glance to be straightforward.

Cheers for that. Under a tenner. Gonna get a bit of that when I get home I think.
