Ryder Cup - European Opening Teams

So who would be your opening 4 Ball partnerships for Europe and who do you think the US will go with

Mine would be

Westwood and Donaldson

McIlroy and Kaymer

Dubuisson and Garcia

Rose and Poulter

For the US I think it will be

Mickleson and Bradley

Fowler and Walker

Speith and Kuchar

Watson and Simpson

I'd go for the following:

Poulter and Rose
McIlroy and Garcia
Kaymer and Stenson
Donaldson and MacDowell

I think the Bradley/Mickelson and Watson/Simpson pairs are pretty nailed on based on previous performance, apart from that I'd expect to see Jimmy Walker feature on day 1 as well as Kuchar, Speith and Reed. Wouldn't mind betting that Tom Watson will play everyone on day 1.
