Ryder Cup Compensation

Has anyone received their ryder cup dvd and two free european tour event tickets for being rained out on the Friday of the Ryder Cup.
I've gone through the whole process online in getting them and its been three months since I applied for them.
Obviously the snow has been a factor but I still think they would have been delivered by now!

The tickets for the tournaments probably haven't been printed yet, I'm not expecting anything until a few weeks before the event I registered for. Have you tried emailing them ?

I think colint probably hit the nail on the head. How many events (sporting, concerts etc) do you have to wait until closer to the event before they arrive? My guess is they haven't been done yet but a mail should confirm everything

"Mark – I understand the DVDs have been sent out this week, possibly today so should be on their way to you and they are the Official Film DVD that is available to buy. Kind regards Roddy Williams Ryder Cup Europe

Still aint got mine yet but with it being christmas and the bad weather i will give it to the new year before i get the dvd.

As for the tickets i hope they let us know quite well in advance which day i got tickets for at wentworth as i need to know if i have to book time off work and sort out a hotel.

Great thanks! I got an email today as well: "the DVDs were sent out last week after the processing of the applications following the registration which ended on November 30. Our ticketing office will be in touch in early Spring regarding the tickets for your chosen event."
I thought the tickets were "any day" tickets so you could choose which day to go in??? Maybe its only for the Irish Open which I applied for

So could you choose which day you wanted to go for the irish open then? When i picked tickets for wentworth it didn't let you choose the day you wanted you just get what your given which i thought was the same for all the events but obviously not by the looks of it.

They'll probably be 'any one day' tickets - so you can use them on whatever day you like.....

Yeah it did say they were "any one day tickets" but i thought that just ment that the tickets you would be given would already be printed with the day they picked for you but i may be wrong.

Think i will give them an email to find out what the deal is with them.

Emailed them and yup i can use them on any day so thats saved alot of hassle as we can go for the sunday, stop overnight and travel back on the monday as it's a bank holiday.
