Ryder Cup 2025 - All matters

Not only did he hole the putt to clinch it, Lowry shot a bogey-free 6 under par 64 today. I wasn't sure about his form coming into this, but that is an unreal performance. Best round of the day, matched only by his opponent Henley (his wasn't bogey-free though).

Shame we seen about 10 shots of it

I actually didn't realise he was that much under par, serious golf

Got my medical at work tomorrow, just took my blood pressure. Be stood down if I went in with it that high. Hopefully have come down tomorrow. That European team killing me today

That’s what I mean, feel he’s not quite getting the credit he deserves.
Nor will Aberg, whose result was arguably the most important. The one player where a win looked likely with a few holes to go, give the others something to cling on to

But, they wont care. They'll all be having a great night, even Rasmus

I live in the US but I'm thrilled the Euros won again. There are several reasons I feel this way. I like all of the Europeans and their captain. Unfortunately, there are several US players I cannot stand including their captain. I'm 75 and have been playing golf for over sixty years. I love watching the majors and the Ryder Cup. As a fan, watching the incredible comeback by the US team was really fun. For me the behavior of some of the US fans was embarrassing. Golf is supposed to be different from wrestling. I know the fans in Europe can be boisterous too. However I don't remember Rome being this bad. That's just my two cents worth.
BTW I thought Tommy Fleetwood deserved the Nicklaus/ Jacklin award not only for his play but his show of sportsmanship.

I don't think 10:2 is a realistic prospect for USA so I will stick my neck out and say Europe will win.
I won't be paying too much attention to Europe getting to 14 points to halve the match and retain the cup - I want to see the match won.
Who is the likely player to get Europe to the 14-and-a-half points?
I would like it to be Rahm. That would be likely if the first 6 matches are 3:3. His style of displayed jubilation will be fairly gentlemanly, I imagine.
If that does not happen then Lowry would seem appropriate, in some way, perhaps. Probably quite a different reaction than Rahm - but I don't mind that.

Oh yes - and the golf - we mustn't forget that - I hope that is worth seeing.
I nearly called it - wrong by only half a point.
