Same as that therod.
this year someone bought me a six pack of golf balls, that's okay I thought, then I unwrapped them!

I kid you not.
Will be interested to see how they go.
Are they built for distance or feel?

Slime.

i actually hit my first sub 100 with the lucky 8 ball, but then I'm not good enough for ball quality to matter.

We got our new Captain with an exploding one last Sunday. He teed his ball up whilst waiting for the group in front to clear so a couple of others chatted to him whilst another swapped the ball on his tee. He never noticed and took a smack at it - it was very funny to see his reaction when it exploded! We also tried one on the lady captain's drive off - should have broken and revealed a ribbon or something but she didn't hit it hard enough!!

I REALLY wish there was a like button on this forum:thup:

I got 2 packs of those blimmin' brush tees. Apparently, the person who bought them went in to a golf shop and asked for 'the best tees' so obviously they sold them the most expensive ones.

Like someone said above, don't want to be ungrateful but...

After all the tat prezzies possible in recent years I had a word with all parties considered, explained that I was particular about my golf gear and that unfortunately most of the box sets you get at Xmas is cheap tat, which I don't use

After this people now ask if I'm looking for any thing and buy from that list .... Saves people wasting their money which the the current climate is a pet hate of mine

The only golf related tat that I don't mind getting is golf mugs. Currently I have two, one that isn't dishwasher proof and is used as a toothbrush mug and the latest one is a good to go in the dishwasher model

There is a thread about 'what you got' and most seems to be good, wish I'd got a future x:confused:

I always seems to get rubbish golf stuff. My wife knows not to buy me golfing kit unless otherwise instructed with a clear spec, but my relatives are different !

Last year I got a ball retriever, this year a leather scorecard holder, a desk top golf game and what can only described as a golf Kagool:D

I don't wanna sound ungrateful..........but I am!! Why bother, all that's missing is a mug full of plastic tees !!

What rubbish kit did you get .... Or is it just me ???:swing:

Personalised metal tees

Can you imagine the damage these would do to a forged head!!!

Nothing deliberate on the part of my family (wife plays golf too so knows that all the gift sets etc. are awful) but she bought me a cabretta leather glove - only problem is my size is medium mens and she bought one that said medium ladies on the package - it's tiny, so much so that I think it's a child's glove.

I was given a pair of 'golf ball finder glasses'. They seem to have an ultra violet coating to highlight white against green but I think they're more of a gimmick really.

On the plus side, I had a box of twelve Titleist ProV1s as well.
