Well being an Artisan member we play club matches against other Artisan clubs. Tomorrow is away V St Georges. Match fee £5, including two course dinner after the match, and open practice faculties and afternoon tea from 3pm.
I can't wait. We played V Cinque Ports recently and it rained the whole day so at least we've got good weather for tomorrow.
Only played there once before in the first Kent forum trip so can't wait. Playing in a match (albeit a friendly) but add to just going down and playing for nothing.

Other Aritsan away matches coming up this summer: Rye, Blackheath, Sundridge, then Adleburgh.

:)

Adleburghs obviously not local but i think we're making a weekend of it, they come down to us for 36 holes over two days. The only draw back to these matches is that they are 3pm on a Sunday so eats into the day a bit. but hey I say to the wife I could play there Tuesday but it'll cost £150+ more lol!

Wow. What a list and what a day tomorrow. Have a good one. Weather looks decent so it'll be a piece of golfing heaven

Very jealous, the last course I played for £5 was a council pitch and putt... needless to say that you've got the best deal.

Artisan membership

That is a very distant memory for me.

On the waiting list for West Hill meant I played golf there for just £1.

I played there for free and it included a night's accommodation in The Bell.

Then I retired and there was no more Corporate Hostility........

Littlestone in Kent. I've been on at the committee to try and arrange some more matches but they're stuck in their way a bit. The Adleburgh match was new this year but mostly pushed by them.
Do you play in any of the AGA Open events?

I lost my match last night but it was a gorgeous evening, lovely sunset and the whole place is in great condition, fairways like most green and fast greens. You need to know your way round to score well. I shot 84 I think but lost by 5 holes to a very steady 8 hcp.
