Rory McIlroy programme

I think Colin Montgomerie made a good point when he said Rory should have played in Inverness this week to get the back slapping ('Cheers mate') over, before the Open, as, he felt, this could be a distraction in the BIG event.

Rory, being a nice guy, could end up with a lot of 'back slapping' during next weeks practise.

Daft talk, he will get a big greeting regardless as they will be two very different sets of crowds.
I think it is a good thing that he moves from one major to another with nothing between as he will still be on a high and riding the wave of his form.

I liked Golf Digest's Tom callahan comment referring to the new champion who didn't treat the world like it was his spittoon, I wonder who he was refering to?

Just watched it and he just seems to be such a great young fella. Obviously top marks to his parents as well for all that they've done for him and how they have brought him up. The acknowledgement to his dad on the 18th in the final round of the US Open was very touching and a great moment.

Yep, the wife and I just watched this and really enjoyed it, he is a super balanced guy, I must say I am a fan.

His girl friend made me chuckle though, she gets dumped, she knows that not good for the life plan so she does everything she can to be in the right place at the right time. High heals at breakfast... I love it!

I'm sure it's not like that at all and I am just a synic..... :D

The practice ground is AWESOME!!
