Played this week at a course that had a beautiful grass driving range. They had just moved the rope forward so we were hitting off lovely fresh shortish dense turf- like a really nice first cut. Even my nemesis 3 wood was launching off it wonderfully.
Then we went out to the closely cur fairway and had a reality check!

Must have been better than a plastic mat in a box!!

I'll vary myself off to room 101, I get 2 shots at our 3rd. I've only ever done it once a nice 5 pointer in the stableford!

Yes, but the weekend ones are billy no mates, or people on medication. I'm talking the ones during the week (sales reps,self-employed,shifty workers), they should be let through with haste.
