Already available from American Golf stores.

I walked in 20 mins after they got delivery. The store guys already one taped up on the trackman, and 280-300 yards were showing on previous hits. I knew I was gonna test one sometime soon, just didn't realise it would be today. Anyway the old VSteel hits 235ish, I was hitting 245+ with most, topping out at 255 on a couple .... One less available from that store.

Btw, the Ping rep was there too with the i20 range, very nice looking kit, the matt black finish on the woods is nice, and the irons look good.

I'll stick with my JPX, maybe not as long but straight(ish) and easy to hit. I hit my driver pretty well so not sure why I would want a 3 wood that does the same distance. Also prefer the subtle blue to white.

Still, would be interested to hear how people get on with them to see if this is genuinly a step forward in club development.

Asked to hit the i20's but he wouldn't let me :(. .... Although even the Ping guy was impressed with the RBZ figures.

For me I have too big a gap between driver and 3 wood, so this should hopefully allow me to choose 3 wood from he tee much more.

this is exactly why i plan no club changes at the moment.

your driver gets longer, so you need a new 3w to space the gap better
your 3w gets klonger, so you need a new hybrid/5w to space the gap
you get a new 5w/hybrid, now your gap between your longest iron and shortest wood is too big.

Yeah i saw them earlier IN AG Purley, looked nice but nothing thats gonna get me changing from the 910's. I am more keen to get my hands on those Cleveland 588's when they come out......

Any deals to be had? Doubtful I know but anyone tried?

The r11 come out about the same time last year, i waited for Direct golfs march madness and with a RRP of £329, i paid £235. had it 6 weeks, didnt get on with it and moved it on. I will do the same this year i think, wait until march madness, and that should bring the rbz down from £299 rrp, which means their std price will be around £279, then take 20% off that and your be paying around the £200 mark...

This is obvioulsy assuming they do the march madness again,.

in which case knock 20% from that , i thought the estimated rrp was 299, but that sounds more like it given the rbz is a burner replacement and the current burner 2.0 is 199 rrp

Correct, rbz replaces burners in both irons and woods, r11s replaces r11 in woods only. R11 irons and tp irons remain. Big shake up with the balls too, I might give the rbz balls a go, and the penta tp3... Currently use penta tp... Fed up of the cost though....
