Think that was a catch prhrase back in the 60s. Anyway, I played in a medal comp today, first full round since my utter debacle in Monday's team event. Was still feeling sore and lacked confidence played conservative going on wimpy. Still had one 'blob' but got to 9th in 3 over par, which I thought okay. Tried to losen up a bit with mixed results (more bunkers!) but came in at the end with 1 over. Not bad for tentative game on a damp and windy day.
More than satisfied as this is first time I have played to new handicap in a comp. In fact I should be celebrating.

Hot bath and a nice big glass of red for me tonight. (I know how to live!)

It's nice to play to a new handicap isn't it.
