I would never buy a bike blind. It has to be comfortable and fit you right to be the most enjoyable.
It's a flippin bike Fragger, why didn't you cycle back??
So, buying a bike in the current climate is a bit more difficult than I expected. My local bike shop has been pillaged of stock - unless you’re spending serious money.
Have any of you heard of Rutland Cycles? I’ve found a Bianchi C-Sport (2018 model) on there for £550. It looks a good deal. Plus they offer a 30 day trial where apparently they’ll exchange if not completely happy (charging £50 to collect the bike).
1 I had a return ticket
2 It is about 30 miles and I need to build up to that, not having cycled in 35 years
3 it was piddling down with rain
?
Did you get stabilisers with it ?1 I had a return ticket

I can'tcan just see Fragger carrying that onto the train
The only things with these and the gravel bikes I’ve seen are the drop handles. Fine for the road. Not sure how comfortable I’d be on the trails I’ve found. They’re fairly uneven.I ride a lot of the South Downs and there are loads of people on cyclo cross bikes - maybe an option?
