Really Basic Handicap Question

I know this is a stupid question but still:

I have been cut to 24.6 after the weekends comp (a respectable 4th place) but does that mean that I now play of 24 or 25?

Logic suggests that I round off to the nearest number and play of 25 but golf is not always logical.

Playing handicap 25.

Once you reach the 0.5 it gets rounded up.

Yes 24.6 = 25 and 24.4 = 24, I think the 0.5 gets rounded up as well.

Never had reason to check, all of last year my handicap was 27 and going up by .1 every month or so. The first cut put me down to an even 25 so this is the first time that I have a handicap .5 or above.
