Real Madrid confident....

Anybody who would be glad to see him go is a bitter rival fan or they dont understand football imo.

I would hope that when Liverpool win the title he will look forward to leading them into CL next season.

That is as clear as day

Cant wait to watch him Sterling, Coutinho and Sturridge rip Europe apart :whoo:

You're entitled to your opinion mate. I'd have a dim view on any one that as bitten 2 people at work regardless of profession tbh.

And people that forearm punch people in the face or dive in two footed on people ? Do they need sacking out of the country also ?

Wonder how dim that view would be if it was a Chelsea player.

With the new contract and the bag and the hefty buy out clause it would take something special to get him away from Liverpool. More so if they go on and win the league. At the moment unless his agent starts the unsettling tactics I reckon its paper talk and nothing more

Anybody know what his actual clause is? One minutes it's more than 90. The next it's gonna take over £100m. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's a buyout clause, he won't be confused as he was this summer. I'm not sure Madrid would pay 100m for him. With Ronaldo and bale either side grabbing 30 odd goals and causing havoc I'm sure most adequate stikers will still get 20/30 goals themselves in Spain. Suarez is a quality player, better than benzema but not sure he'd score that many more in the Madrid side as he simply wouldn't get as many chances due to the other big names wanting them.

Not sure how much truth there is in this to be honest. But if they are looking at offloading Benzema to raise the cash for this deal then Liverpool should push for him as part of the deal IMO, what would I be happy with? Benzema and £60M, going on reports that would give Rogers £120M for the transfer market and he would have already replaced Suarez.

People keep saying if he was a Chelsea/United/Arsenal player would he get the stick. It's hard to say as I don't think the world of football has seen a player as bad. Constant diving and play acting (proved again on Sunday), banned twice for biting, banned for being racist and cheating in a World Cup quarter final. When you have as much talent and skill as he does why do all those thing?

yes Suarez has at times acted like a complete idiot on the pitch and has been banned for it

But he isnt the first , isnt the only and wont be the last

I remember there was a vid from Ronaldo rolling about screaming - got stretcher off writhing in agony - stretcher got to the sideline and he suddenly leapt back onto the field of play and fully sprinted straight into the attack !

Its not a new thing - and it needs sorting out

But even you as the completely blinkered Liverpool fan ;) needs to realise Suarez is probably 10 times worse than Ronaldo was at diving. You would think Gerrard would have a word like Keane did with Ronaldo.

You say he isn't the first or last, show me someone who has bitten a player twice on the pitch and also been done for racism?

If Crystal Palace come in for him in the close season id probably turn a blind eye to those naughty things!!

To be fair, most artists have streaks of madness and he is one of the artists that I bought a season ticket to see!

I'm not saying you wouldn't take him in your team, he would walk into any lineup in the world. I just can't believe he still does these thing. IMO he won't go down in the same bracket as Messi and Ronaldo because of his actions, and I do believe he has the potential to be talked about like they do.

Suarez without doubt is probably the best player in the world at the minute, but his actions do not match. I love him, but then again I am a Liverpool fan so why wouldn't I. If he does go it is going to be for big money because a player like him is worth an extra 5 wins a season (15 points). Without him I think Liverpool would have been in the scrap with Arsenal and Everton for 3rd and 4th place.

For some reason though the press love to jump all over him, where other players get away with it. Look at Fellaini and Ramires, not that much is being said about their American wrestling moves, ie the forearm smash. There are other players that love to jump around the floor, Rooney against Bayern that got Sweinsteiger a suspension. Young English players in the PL are doing too. It is just so embarrassing to watch at times, for fans of all teams.

I'd still pick Ronaldo if we were playground picking, but I can agree both of them are "without doubt probably" the best in world atm.

I know now it's hard to choose which is worse, but for me rightly or wrongly play acting is more infuriating than violent conduct. Unfortunately Suarez has cases of both, and worse where as most do one or other.

Instill think ink he'll get player of year for pl. Ronaldo probably his 2nd consecutive ballon dor though. 14 goals 9'apps in Europe will put him ahead of Suarez this year. If Suarez continues next year in cl too, then we really could have 3 top players instead of Ronaldo and messi (plus the rest).

I do agree that that Suarez gets a lot of negative press but anyone with his past record is going to tbf. He's got a bad rep due to biting people & racially abusing one. He dives about with the best of them (I know plenty do it) but add it all together & you can't blame people for not liking the bloke.
Look at the tackle that Henderson is serving his ban for,it was a nasty challenge but Henderson isn't a nasty player & you just think it was a mistake in the heat of the moment.
If Joey Barton had done the same thing he'd get hammered for it because he's earned himself a bad reputation.
I've got no sympathy for them tbh.
Just my opinion.

El Hadji Diouf was another utterly vile player - which team did he play for again. #bugger
