You can even look at the bag to see what they use if you want. You just cannot ask. As that is asking for advice. Looking is just observing. How did you know what club they were using I'm pretty sure that is cheating.

This plus looking in the bag is the right answerIt's only cheating if you ask! You can get an idea from the way the ball flys and you are not obliged to look away or not listen if the waft the club around in front or you!
What's the rush? I can play pretty quick golf without trampling over all the traditions of the game. I like the honour system. If it's mine, then I want it, and if it isn't mine, I want it on the next hole.
Just walk quicker between shots.
Agreed.
Furthest away on the 2nd and 3rd etc shots go first.
Best for safety.
I love going first off the tee,it shows im playing better than my partners.

Thats bad ettiquette on there part anyweay didnt anyone do the pin for you?
Trouble is I can apply that analogy to almost any issue that reportedly effects pace of play. Marking scorecard on green, leaving clubs on wrong side of green, too many practice swings etc etc can all be answered with Just walk quicker between shots!
Oh, and whoever it was who said that matchplay isn't real golf, you are having a laugh aren't you. It's probably the only form of golf that makes it a "sport". i.e. One competitor in combat against another and not against the course.
Only imho of course
