Re-worked Songs

Love the way that Debbie Allen, Bonnie Raitt, Yoyo Ma and Obama are all getting into it in the audience, the wtf look on Robert Plant's face as the curtain comes up and the reaction, particularly Jimmy Page at the end. And Jason Bonham on the kit is the icing on the cake.

Never tire of watching it.

Oh, and how good is Nancy Wilson's finger picking.

One of the best clips i've ever seen on here! It just has everything, and to see the appreciation of the three originators clearly enjoying every minute, speaks volumes for the respect they must have for the musicians and singers!

That cover is so overrated for me, I don't understand it. The Nine Inch Nails original is so powerful, but Cash just made it drab and dull-sounding. I don't get why people like it so much, and I've seen people say that Cash's version is better, which is outrageous. He just plays four chords on a guitar and sings in a deep voice. So what?

Wow - I love NIN, and I love the original, but even Trent Reznor admitted that Cash completely owned the song. First time I heard it - one of the rare times that I did so by way of the video - I had chills for about an hour. In fairness, the video adds so much to the piece as it is telling Johnny's story.
