Re take putt for penalty stroke

Can't see how anyone can object to this.
It's legal,but it's not the easy way out.
You have to take a penalty stroke, and you still have to make the second "attempt" at the poor shot work this time.

In a match, if someone misses a putt against me and wants to have "another go" at it at a cost of a penalty shot... fire away!
 
The last time I did this in a seniors' roll-up (replayed a bladed lob wedge that had gone 20 yards beyond the green), my partner and our opponents were so bewildered by what I had done, and impressed by my confident explanation, they never had a chance of wondering about its legitimacy.

When you do it, remember to quote the rule number with authority!
