Re-Gripping Tape

Rather than fork out for the pre cut strips or £10 for a roll of double tape from the likes of Gamola would something like the below work ok? How would you know if it is solvent activated or are most double sided tapes solvent activated? Or would I be better off just getting the tape through the likes of Gamola?

Getting good quality tape makes the job much easier. Cheaper tapes do not have enough glue and can dry out much quicker as a result ie they 'dry' before you get the grip fully on.

Great seller for economy and clearance golf grips as well they normally will include the grip tape and they sell solvent.
