Re Gripping clubs

I tend to put some masking tape on the shaft just below the old grip and mark where the middle of it is before removing. Then line up the new grip with the mark on the masking tape.

I always do my own grips, it really is simple to do. Couple of tips...... make sure you get plenty of white spirit on the tape and inside the grip then slide it on quickly before it starts to dry out. Once it's on, put the clubhead on the ground as if you were about to hit a shot and you can then look straight down the shaft and check the grip is correctly aligned. You will have a bit of time to twist it into place if it isn't before the spirit evaporates. After you've done them all, give the grip and shaft of each club a wash down with warm soapy water to get rid of any residue.

Once you've done a couple you'll fly through the rest.

Instead of the masking tape I use a wee tipex mark line down from where the old grip alignment mark is. I did use masking tape once but got white spirit on it and the tape came off before I could get the grip lined up.
Only important part of my way is to let the tipex dry first.
As the others have said, once you have done one the rest are a piece of urine.

Edit: other tip is that I put my white spirit in a spray bottle and spray 7 times in side the grip and then slosh it about inside, pour the remainder over the grip and if you need a little more you can just give it a wee spray, saves pouring loads of white spirit all over the place.

Same as most above, but I actually poor a little white spirit in to the grip and cover the hole at the end to keep it in while sliding the grip on, this makes sure the grip stays lubricated on the tape. Just remember to let your finger off every now and agaiin or else you get too much pressure and it sprays everywhere :)
