Starange how I mentioned this last week and Labour under the freedom Of info act have picked up how much hospitals areDid we employ people from overseas to save money, or because there aren’t enough people here to do the work?
How many brought a family with them?
My old office had 35 people working in it. 20 we’re not from the UK. Even if we wanted to only employ people from the UK we couldn’t as there aren’t the people with the skills.

Paying for agency’s. Furthermore they have mentioned how much they will
Increase the numbers of drs and nurses being trained.
Don’t get me wrong we should encourage skilled workers to work in the UK to “ Enhance our lives”. But not at the expense if we cannot be bothered to fund them.
Did I hear this correct this a.m.? UNITE accept a pay offer but The RMT override what they have accepted and decline the offer.
Sure somebody will be explain how this works please.
And how do we become healthier as a nation to reduce the burden? There is no easy answer.
But the questions should be. Why do we need so many nurses and doctors? And how do we become healthier as a nation to reduce the burden?
For those who might have missed Mick Lynch this morning, absolute riot. "Why don't you just interview yourself Richard"

And there was me thinking that companies were run for the benefit of shareholders. I might have to change my perception.
Not seen it but the wife watched it, tbh the telly tubbies would run rings around Richard. Thinks himself a serious news ankor...There really is a bit of the Alan partridge about dear old Richard lol
I'm glad lynch cleared up something I been trying to find..this "Xmas Eve" won't affect passengers.. I thought he said it previously but couldn't find the notice
Mick Lynch comes across as a real pompous ass. It's like he wants the union to be on strike so he is always in the news and justifying his existence.
I think a lot of people here are about to get slimmer because they choose to feed their kids and heat the house before themselves. And how do we become healthier as a nation to reduce the burden?
Currently on my travels. Stuck at Poznan airport ?
Anyway your question is a very valid point. I have remarked to Missis T once more. The Polish population look very much slimmer than in the UK. Cycle lanes etc. The mindset looks Different to ours, I have been to many countries where the population generally looks Slimmer. The NHS does need looking at, but I feel others need to look At them selves. ?
Because a turn up and buy 1st Class ticket from the Scottish isles to Cornwall is a really good barometer of the cost of public transport.I'll take note not to criticize BR here because my posts are deleted.
Am I actually upsetting somebody by pointing out the grim reality of going by train these days?
I see the £1000 fare I referred to was from 13 years ago, so what must it be now?
Passengers will have to fork out even more to travel on this unreliable system, which once was actually a public service that most could afford.

I think a lot of people here are about to get slimmer because they choose to feed their kids and heat the house before themselves.
But that will need the nhs to look after them through malnutrition.
I think most other countries the gap between rich and poor isn’t so big.
They look after the people first not big businesses avoiding their taxes, and paying shareholders millions.
We pay poverty wages that’s why people won’t work especially the over 50s who can just about afford not to.
Most of the people going on strike work shift work inc weekends for a very poor wage.
That’s not good for your health, but people who have never done shifts don’t know the effect it has on you.
… and the other side is as honest, straightforward and humble as the day is long…yeh…right…Mick Lynch comes across as a real pompous ass. It's like he wants the union to be on strike so he is always in the news and justifying his existence.
