Found lynch to come across very well, puts news readers and MPs in their place with just the facts and doesn't talk in riddles.

Rather refreshing

Plus a fine example setter.. got the job and cut his wages from 120k to 84k, fair play

Nah, he refused to answer a direct question earlier then did the classic deflection and accuse the interviewer of being a right wing sympathiser.
Guy is a piece of work.

I take it you haven't heard the National Rail chief exec speaking. I was fairly neutral on the issue until I heard him interviewed on the radio this afternoon. He sounded like a comedy caricature of a political hatchet man. They all deserve each other (the leaders of the 2 sides that is, not the staff).

£84k?
They pay his NI and tax so he “earns” more than £84k

All employers pay nin for employees and pensions as quoted in the rag

Fact is he was on 120k , not including the add ons now he's on 84k not including add ons

Many our leaders could follow suit?

As did the minister when asked whether he had blocked an offer the employers were to make (that’s just a factual observation and is apolitical in respect of the merits or otherwise of whether he blocked it or not). And that’s a much more important question than how much the strikes are costing individual members of the RMT - one question the BBC was putting to Lynch…

how many of those can hold the country to ransom?

Think your are laying the Blame in entirely the wrong place

Nurses
Firefighters
Ambulance drivers
Rail workers

To name but a few taking part in action or voting on

Only one single collective of people are holding the pay talks back, why are they not holding the country to ransom?

The nurses have said they will suspend strikes if ministers agree to talk to them , they refuse

I don't see the rmt as the complete issue . They are doing what they need to do for their members, protect rights and protect jobs

Otherwise what's the point of a union?

Without unions we wouldn't have

Sickpay
Weekends
Mat pay
Paternity pay
Mat leave

They can't be all bad
