R9 - Should I ?

OK, just got my annual bonus and I always treat myself to something.

So I've been sitting and staring a the gorgeous R9 for the past couple of days.

And I WANT one.

Let me be clear I don't 'NEED' one, my burner is fine, I'm hitting it well enough. But I 'WANT' an R9.

Stupid I know. My brain is telling me don't mess with what's working, but the old heart is saying 'Go on, you know you want to'.

What do you recon, get myself over to AG this weekend and give one a go ? Can't do any harm can it ?

I agree.....are you also prepared to sink £350 into lessons?

Maybe BOTH would revolutionise your game.....

Dave, already investing in lessons as well. I think if it was a choice R9 or lessons, I'd go the lessons route.

I'm definitely getting more benefit over anything I could get from kit alone.

I told you lot yesterday! He has been on the range for the last few days trying all different drivers as he aint getting on with the Smooth.

He is only contracted to Wilson for 12 clubs so he can use whatever driver he wants.

for the money though, i wouldn't be restricting it to just one club. Why don't you try a few, you might be surprised. Or, go for a weekend in St Andrews and play a couple of the courses?

You never know. If I don't get on with after a while there might be one in the for sale section going cheap
