Quick and grab this bargain

can someone explain how this works?

do you play them up front (in this case the £39) and then sort out the what and when with the hotel when you get your voucher? If so what happens if there isn't suitable availability?

I ask 'cos i'm interested in this (and others)

It is possible to have a look on their own website and see if they have any rooms available for when you want, they send the voucher through immediately so theres very little time delay meaning you should then be able to book

this is the first time i have used this service and this is how it worked for me.

as soon as i brought the deal i received an email with the club phone number and voucher code, i rang them up and they don't allow stays for fridays and saturdays and the bank holiday sunday in may so iv booked it for sunday the 14th april BUT if you cant find a date you want then you can keep the money as credit on the wowcher website and use it on something in the future.

you cant loose really and for the sake of £39 it seems great value for money.

Having bought one of these vouchers seemed a good time to use it with cheltenham races on this afternoon so we came up this morning. Checked in about 6pm after the race meet tonight and hotel is a little better than expected to be honest. Room is spacious and clean, recently decorated. They are quiet tonight so we have a room looking straight out onto the 1st tee, its literally 20 yards the other side of the french doors. Hotel is a bit disjointed, seems like you keep going outside to get anywhere (your room, the health club, the pro shop etc) and they aren't making the best of what they have (seems it changed hands recently).

Haven't eaten in the hotel though can heartily recommend http://www.theochouse.co.uk/ for dinner. Will let you know what the nights sleep, breakfast and the golf course are like tomorrow at some point. Time for another drink now though... :)

Bed wasnt the comfiest but managed to get a nights kip, brekkie was your typical buffet job - filled a hole, and the golf was decent enough. Course was in good nick except for some damage they have had from badgers, mainly around the edge or a few greens, bunkers and tees (to the point where they now have an electric fence around the 17th green a few inches off the ground!). Greens themselves were lovely, pretty quick for the time of year and having been cut pretty true. Windy conditions but knocked it round in 2 1/2 hrs in 76 blows, not too tough this game when you only miss 1 fairway (ok I only took hybrid with me and a handful or irons, no driver or 3 wood lol).

I'd be surprised if anyone who has paid sub £40 for this will be disappointed, wouldnt object to paying that for just the golf for a 2 ball! Not the greatest venue in the world but better than I was expecting for the price
