Question time.

Watching Emily Thornbury answering about the Labour Party being an effective opposition was pure comedy gold

On This Week? OMG - what on earth is she on...maybe she thinks that holding outrageous views makes her interesting

Nothing to do with being interesting. It makes her employable I suppose.

She's only ever rolled on to be the comedy villain. Her only opinion is to counteract the general consensus in a sneering and vile way.

Gets bums on seats though.

Complete media whore and a dead ringer for (a skinny) Joe Brand IMO.

Orrible bit of kit that thing

Thornberry, McDonnell, Abbott, Corbyn and the great Turncoat Chackrabarti. You couldn't make it up. What a disaster

TBH I thought the were all pretty poor apart from DD and the guy from the independent who I'd never seen before.

Yup - Amol Rajan is good - he's been on QT a fair bit. Alex Salmond did his usual claymore rattling - but the truth is the Tories are playing into the hands of the SNP with their approach Brexit negotiations so he has plenty to rattle on about. The Tory was just rather wet and looked unconvinced (indeed at times a little sheepish) by what he was having to say.

Quite a number of young Breakfasteers and a lot of support against the idea of having a Government vote on the initial Brexit negotiating position.

Emily Thornbury, what an odious woman.
Could not agree more. Dreadful performance that summed up quite neatly the mess that Labour has made for itself.
The best she could say about Corbyn is that he is a good and decent man. To me that's kind of a prerequisite for someone who wants to be PM and a tag lost when you start to sympathise with terrorists.
