Bestest Forum Moment for me has to be the Machrie meet on Islay just after covid lockdown was lifted in October 2020

About 30 of us attended, the weather was shirt sleeves, proper nice, we werent sure we could go until about a week before the event.

Played The Machrie twice, then back over to the mainland for Machrihanish Dunes and Dunaverty on the same day and Machrihanish,on the last day as folk needed to travel
and still had change from £400 including 3 nights accommodation.

Lots of laughs, and yes I played my second shot from the beach, dodging the incoming tide, there is a video somewhere, @Radbourne2010 wets himself whenever he thinks about it

Wow that is some hook off the tee to have to play your 2nd shot from there!!

We played The Mach about 8yrs ago in the most perfect weather you could possibly wish for, bright blue sky and not a breath of wind. The young girl in the pro shop commented that we'd played in the finest weather conditions she'd known.

Come on Pete lets at least have a full list..... where's Cavendish???..... New Zealand?? & flat Cappers @ Conway?? as well as the Yorkies V NE'ers @ Wike Ridge plus the return match with @Hobbit at Wynyard GC .... Trophy still with us here in Leeds though Fish did have his hands on it for a while...... a bit of Leeds 'treatment' got it released from the Chelsea softy..

I know mate, probably another few more although I wasn't at the Wike ridge or Wynward gig, although did play with Brian at Cleveland once, and very well received.

Bear in mind that , normally, the furthest left Fragger can hit the ball is about 20 yards right..........
