Brake Fluid change?

I don't disagree, but you could argue (nicely of course) that the difference is probably more noticable as you are going from one vehicle into another. Couldn't you also get low brake pads also mixed up with a lower efficient brake fluid?. I know when I've got close to needing the pads replaced on the van I can feel more travel in the pedal so you know they are going to need replacing soon.

I have a vehicle which is less than 2 years old, the cars I tested were brand new and just on a year old, same car.

Soft brake pedal is a lot different to pads getting worn in my experience.

Deja vu today.

My Tiguan in for a major service. They send through the report with a Red Warning - Brake Fluid needs changing, £99. I go to pick it up and ask why it is isn't changed as part of a major service? "Because the service is for the engine, not the brakes". I argue that it's the car that's being serviced, not just the engine, but it's all futile and leaves a nasty taste in my mouth.
