QPR Reading - are they really relegated?

Why does every media report say todays 0-0 result means both teams are now relegated? Annoying me as both could still get past Wigan and Villa by my reckoning with 9 points up for grabs and goal difference about the same as Villa. Say QPR win their 3 games and Villa/Wigan lose all theirs and Reading drop just 1 more point then QPR would stay up........wouldn't they or have I missed something like head to head results with Villa?

Yeah, they're both down because Wigan and Villa play each other. The most they can get is 34 pts and the 17th placed team will have at least 35.

Know quite a few 'Hoops' fans and I think to a man they blame 'Sparky' for their demise... Believe they were hoping for rather than expecting a miracle when 'Arry arrived... Used to go myself, occassionally, back in the day of Rodney and Stan...

So why is it that Harry "Teflon" Redknapp is not in any way to blame. After all he arrived with a reputation as a great motivator of players and would appear to have singularly failed in that respect.
Reputation rather than achievements?

We are talking footie here and not the 'real world' ;)... Think the fans are hoping HR can get them straight back up... In general don't believe they cared too much for Hughes... Perhaps, one day, another Rodney will turn up and all will be good again at the Loft...

Gonna be interesting to see how much baggage they get rid of though. Remy/Samba/Bosingwa must all be on quite high salary (Bosingwa believed to be £65k per week) and that's gonna hurt them. Lots of other "talent" that will be wanting away rather than playing in Championship.

I know Harry has publicly stated he wants his players to stay but at what cost?

Hasn't Loic Remy got a get out clause in his contract? I mean he was all set to sign for Newcastle and then for one reason or another old melty face lured him down to the bright lights.

Mind you unless Newcastle get at least 4 points out of the last 9, they have every chance of making up the three for the drop.

I wouldn't call myself a supporter, more an occasional fan, but I do hope the great soap dodging unwashed manage a win tonight.

Remy has got a get out clause I believe, so am sure he will be leaving, wont be short of takers from what I have seen he looks a very good player know Inter Milan were rumoured to be interested. Samba I am sure someone will go for him but as for some of the others like Bosingwa think they may struggle to get rid TBH along with Barton who is do to return from his French holiday soon. More importantly there is going to be an announcement on Arry's future in the next 24 hours, has he spit his dummy out again and done a runner or been pushed?

There is also the fair play rules next year in the championship which may make things tricky for them. I like the way Harry has been in the media saying he didn't have enough time! Neither did Hughes, he had less and I didn't hear him moaning when he turned spurs around. Definitely made if Teflon that one.
