Intrigued by the PXG mini as a replacement for a Driver.
Has anyone bought one and what are your thoughts/experiences.
Although looking to use a Driver replacement, what’s it like off the fairway.
Was any distance lost or gained at all. Plus any other useful info

If you are looking at a driver replacement, why would you want to hit it off the fairway?

Lots of mini driver threads recently one here if you have a look.

A friend is selling his TM mini on eBay after a few months.
He was excited to get it but after trying it couldn't quite see the point. Not as long or forgiving as a normal driver. Harder to hit and less versatile than a 3-wood. He's managed to put me off bothering and I was quite interested.

It’s hours for courses, I’ve been struggling off the tee with the quality of strike recently, borrowed a mini driver for a few rounds and couldn’t miss a fairway.

It come so close to taking the top step in the bag but around my course I couldn’t lose the 20 yards as it’s long off the blocks as it is.

I never had the intention of using it off the deck so never tried.

i tried the Callaway when that came out, after Phil used one to win the Scottish open and Muirfield open. it was a great club and i did hit it almost the same distance as the driver, but id them be carrying two 3 woods effectively . i could hit it the same distance off the deck.
