Push / Glide trolleys v electric

I've just had an email off AG saying they have a sale on at the min with the powerbug sport 18 hole trolley its now £199 down from £299. I'm tempted by it. My mother uses a powerbug and hasnt had any issues with it, shes had it about 3years now.

My powerbug is still going strong. Keep it on constant trickle charge and it works a treat. I also must be at least 100 rounds into mine and never had an issue. I recommend them. Good service from them if you ever need to order anything. I bought a couple or accessories such as umbrella holder and trolley bag and they had them posted out within 24 hours.

I have used a push trolley on the links where they work an absolute treat however on a hilly softer course you can't beat the electric trolley in my opinion.

Excellent. Another 100 rounder. I do the opposite with my battery as well, so it goes to show - they are good too.

(b.t.w. "opposite" means only ever charging overnight/morning before a round).

Hi, im a new here and just wondered if i could a ask a question in this thread too?!I have masters push trolley. 3 wheels. Cost £59.99
from American golf. I've been using it for about a year now on my home course
which is quite hilly in some parts. My two regular golf partners have push trolleys too. One has a icart series 1(I think) and
the other has a sun mountain 4 wheel trolley, looks a bit like a pram! Mine is by far the hardest and most tiring to push.

Question..... I was thinking of splashing out and getting a motocaddys3. I have seen one in the local pro shop which I could get for £360, which includes my 10% members discount. Any thoughts on it? Or any other ideas. My budget is around£350. Cheaper the better!!! Or do I just upgrade to an easier non electric push trolley. I know ultimately the decision will be mine but some feedback would be appreciated.

£360 for a s3 is a good price last years model now i believe, as it's been replaced by the s3 pro just minor upgrades to control panel.

Hello and welcome by the way. :-)

yeah s3 pro is awesome!! pin lock just incase your mates try and send itoff while your in the clubhouse lol
but yeah nice bit of kit usb port incsse you forget to charge anythng aswell and quiet.

Just been to the pro shop earlier today. Had a proper look round the motocaddy s1 and s3 pro. I must admit I do like the s3 pro. £399.99 in the shop minus my 10% discount would bring it down to £360. Still seems a lot of money to spend on a trolley!
As I look at it I could spend £120 max on another push trolley and then regret not spending a bit more on an battery one., so I've made my mind up, battery one it is.
Just need to decide which one. Are there any other trolleys out there which fall into the motocaddy design/range/price brackets. £360 tops.
I do like the accessory station and the fact it has a USB port for my iPhone.

Stewart Golf Z3 is what you want, greta trolley, folds really small and fits any bag so no need to buy a new one.
I have just replaced my Twinline3 with the Stewart Z3 fantastic bit of kit. Although if you look about you can find the Stewart Z1 for about £130 and there's not a lot of difference between them. I had an electric trolley at the same time as the Twinline3 but I eventually got fed up with the hassle with the battery (Charging and remembering to lift it when leaving). If you don't have a problem with the extra bulk and having to charge the battery, then you pays your money and takes your choice.

I usually use a carry bag but if I have a comp or playing 18 holes and need waterproofs, drinks etc then I use my bigger rigid bag with an old 2 wheel trolley.

I find the old 2 wheel trolleys quite heavy and not that great to use.

I did think about an electric trolley but they are £300+ and people constantly seem to have problems with them.

Does anyone use the 3 wheel push trolleys?

They seem to be a good compromise and a lot cheaper. My course isn't that hilly so it should be quite light to push

powakaddy twinline 3

I bought mine for £100 best trolley ever wont need another ever, Unless it breaks,
but its well made, very simple to put up and down.

This is purely my perception but when shopping for a trolleythis weekend it seemed to me that the Twinline 3 was as has been said, wellmade and all that but it looked so out of date compared to the current crop ofpush trolleys on the market. Has it been about for a while as it looks a littleagricultural?

Anyhow, that was just my perception.
