I was luck enough to get a late invite into the Lochwinnoch Pro-Am last week, tee off was 1230, I got the call at 1210.
Anyway I have played a few pro-am's in the past and had a real mix of pro's from obnoxious, to crap to down right ignorant.
Well Friday was the day that made me really really enjoy Pro-am's and it was all down to the nicest friendliest professional that I have ever had the pleasure of playing golf with. At only 23 he was mature beyond his years and had the most wonderful attitude which put you at ease and a great golfer into the bargain.
The young man was Neil Fenwick of Dunbar Golf Club. He absolutely kills the ball as well and hopes to progress further in the game. Good luck to him, if anyone deserves it he does.
