Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

It's really not the same, and it really shouldn't be in the same thread.
Imho, of course....

Should DP Tour be discussed in the same thread as PGA Tour of America. Two different tours… as is LIV.

And if it was two totally different threads with no crossover discussion it would be an echo chamber. As contentious as it can be, it’s definitely in the right place, imho of course…

Bob MacIntyre in interview after BMW 2nd round on traveling back home inbetween PGA comps.

"I love home...it's no secret...it's probably not going to change...everything that means anything to me is in Scotland, so why be anywhere else"

Ah Bob - you said it - and though I live down south I rather know how you feel ♥️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Though for me not quite everything - as my golf club is down here

I only watched the last few holes, and he seemed to be putting himself in a few awkward spots. That last putt was massive. Hopefully sets him up for tomorrow. Scottie didn't seem particularly warm and friendly with the handshake - was there bad blood?
Never noticed any bad blood... Bob was pretty solid... Last putt was HUGE... 👍.. Wasn't much in it at all between them both in overall play... Good to see Bob giving it back to the fans... He looks up for the fight for sure...

There are going to be some nervous times later at the bottom of the LIV standings....

Henrik Stenson seems to have played himself well away from the relegation discussion - he's currently in T-3rd place.
Westwood is down in T-19th place needs to move up 1 place to leapfrog Steele who is also T-19th
Poulter is T-16th going into the final round and is rallying, at times yesterday he got himself out of the drop zone - he's going to probably need to move up 2 places to save himself.
Chieh Po Lee not having a great weekend and Kevin Na had a stinker on Friday but recovered yesterday with a solid round, but both those 2 and Mito Pereira don't look like scoring any points this weekend - so it gives those players mentioned above a points target to aim for.

Lad needs to frame himself a bit out there though.

Scottie and Bob put on the clock - hardly surprising when you see all this palaver over a putt....

Rather unfair to single out one shot. MacIntyre is one of the slowest but...
Scheffler is also very slow. His procrastinating over almost every one of his approach shots for well over the allowed time is why they fell behind.

Yep. They are both amongst the slowest players on tour. Putting them together is the perfect storm. I'm not expecting any shot penalties to be handed out this afternoon, Scheffler could be 3 holes behind and they wouldn't ding him.
The fact that RobM is used to playing equally slowly could well work to his advantage. He's obviously happy to take all day, whereas some players might lose their rhythm. I don't think playing with Rose (who is another glacier on the course) helped Fleetwood last week.

I might have cursed Stenson. 3 over through 6 and he’s back in the relegation zone.
Westwood rallying.

Rahm putting Niemann under pressure for the championship as well. Gonna be a great few hours watching these lads duke it out.
