Rather unfair to single out one shot. MacIntyre is one of the slowest but...
Scheffler is also very slow. His procrastinating over almost every one of his approach shots for well over the allowed time is why they fell behind.

I’ve never heard anyone describe Schaffer as slow before. Bob makes Ben Crane look like he’s playing speed golf. He’s one of the worst players to watch.

I’m a patriotic as they come, and almost always would want an underdog (relatively speaking, against Scheffler) English or Scottish player to do well — but MacIntyre somehow leaves me a bit cold

Agreed with a poster above about talking the talk rather too soon, esp ahead of a NY Ryder Cup and the day before potentially losing a big lead to Scottie…obviously never met nor will meet the guy but I find him a bit oafish / boorish
