Mckibbin looked good going -7 for the day and tieing the lead, then perhaps realised, and a bit of youth & inexperience maybe led to a couple of dropped shots.

Apparently the guy who is playing with Rory is what you would call “deliberate” - ie slow ?!!!

Pace of play was shocking, not really sure they needed 3 balls, the fog / mist amounted to nothing this morning.

Just back from Ren and mildly annoyed at Rory.

On 16 he absolutely smashed the putt completely needlessly trying to make it when if he just got it to the top of the slope it would've trickled down for a tap in 4 and would've forced Gotterups hand, and at the least, would've been 1 back going into 17.

I think he was trying to be the hero for the crowd and hole the eagle putt but it was stupid and cost him any shot of winning. Fair play to Gotterup also, played some tremendous golf today against a respectful but muted crowd.
