Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

Pranker gets pranked and it's all we're talking about.........
It’s amazing how much the LiV boys will pile on to things Rory does. What’s the saying about living rent free?! If it happened at one of their events they would be loving how much character their players have interacting with the crowd 🤣.

Hopefully the wind gets up at the weekend and we see what these players are made of.

Top amateur at my club just won the Sunningdale Foursomes 👏

On the Rory stuff… Has he ever had a likeable personality?
He is dull as dishwater, isn’t funny, doesn’t seem popular on Tour, and he can be quite abrasive in interviews…

I was following the scores from Sunningdale when I could - one of the pair that won last year I see up at Huddersfield pretty often - Dylan Shaw Radford - think they went out in the semis this year. I've never seen a player work so hard on their game as he does - literally hours and hours on the range and practice green.

You want the whole story? How can the press generate stories and how can social media survive if people give the whole story? Just post enough to generate some clickbait and leave it at that!

I'm sure Rory would have given the phone back, or to a steward but much more interesting to hint that maybe he drove it into the water to catch up with his ball :ROFLMAO:
Calling Officer Gillis. Report of a phone theft in Ponte Vedra Beach. Felon has an Irish accent and last seen hitting golf balls into a lake.

They can't get their tongues out of his bum on full swing but even then he doesn't come across that likeable .

Where as BDC, Lowry came across fantastic and likeable

Genuine people

Caught the last 4 holes of LIV this morning after one of the hounds decided to wake me up at 5.00 am, Niemann the man on a mission in Rd2 shooting 7 under to get into a tie for the lead with DJ.

If there's one LIV guy I'd love to see win a major in the near future it's Joaco - he's got a great swing and can hit it any way the shot demands. South American major wins are as rare as hens teeth, but we might not be too far away from another. 🤞

What a round by JT yesterday 👏👏👏🤞

Amazing given the day before. They were talking on comms about some guy on the Challenge Tour who went 80-60 in two successive rounds. Given that these are the top 0.001% of golfers - and so in theory those with the least variable, most consistent repeatable and practiced game - it's probably worth remembering this when someone next moans about banditry on the relevant threads just because somebody has a round that isn't within 3 shots of their handicap :p

Sorry, derailed the thread - best get back to the weekend. McIlroy and Fleetwood will draw the attention from this side of the pond, but I'm going to suggest Sepp Straka is the better bet - albeit a very obvious pick given the season he's had so far :D. Looked excellent again yesterday apart from blowing a very silly 3-putt from about 3 feet on the last hole - hopefully won't lose concentration on the 18th that way on a weekend!
